A Notice of Value is required for an appeal. Your tax statement is not a Notice of Value. A submitted petition does not guarantee an open appeal with the Board of Equalization.

The purpose of the Client Portal is to allow taxpayers the option of starting their Appeal/Petition for Real Property Valuation to the Board of Equalization as a self-service online option. For questions about the appeal process, please email BOE@clark.wa.gov or call 564-397-2337.

Taxpayers who are using this portal for the first time should begin by clicking the link to "Register for a portal account". To reset your previously set password on the portal, please click the "Forgot your password" link.

By using the Clark County Client Portal, you are agreeing to the Terms of Use linked from the bottom of this page.

IMPORTANT: Beginning the appeal form is not sufficient for the purpose of meeting the 60-day filing period deadline.

Appeals submitted through this portal are considered submitted when the system receives the completed appeal submission and must be received by midnight on the deadline. (You will receive a copy to the email you provide.) After a timely petition has been reviewed for completeness, the Board of Equalization will contact you with your case number or to request further information. Technical issues are not a valid reason for a request to extend the deadline.
